Suplee Special Requests and Services.
Throughout this web site we mention that extra special sizes, colors and styles of every product can be special ordered. But Suplee specialties don’t stop there. We like to use our imagination and encourage you to use yours. If you have a product concept that is the answer to your needs we’re willing to produce it. If you need help finding a solution to a particular dilemma; we can locate or design and manufacture filing and mailing products to solve just about any problem. And we’ve got satisfied customers to prove it. Some of our customers’ special requests are now stocked in our Specialty Item Section. The expansion retention jacket is a good example.
Use our 800 line to request size, color, stock or fastener changes. But the best way to convey more involved special requests is to mail a sample of the item you would like duplicated or refined, or samples of the documents that you need to file or mail, and a brief explanation of the problem at hand to:

With Suplee, special doesn’t mean expensive. Our special request items are high quality, reasonably priced and available in small quantities. We may even surprise you by finding a stock item that solves the problem.
Special Requests and Services commonly used.
In the past our customers have asked us to modify, add to or customize our products in many inventive ways. The following list of their most common requests will give you ideas that can help with your present and future needs.
Size: The size of any
product can be tailored to fit your needs.
Expansion: Expansions for
any product can be made up to 6 1/8"; 5 1/4" is the maximum for most
manufacturers.
Gussets: Cloth gussets are
standard, TYVEK® gussets can be special ordered. All gussets are excellent
for color coding.
Cloth pull loop: The loop
acts as a handle to pull file pockets, jackets and wallets from the shelf. Prevents gusset
grabbing and extends the life of the file.
Stock: Heavyweight,
lightweight and different types of stock are available for all filing and mailing
products.
Color stock and gussets : These
items can be special ordered in almost any color. See the color coding section for
details.
Fasteners: Button and
string, Velcro, flexacord, tie tape, eyelets, clasps and all types of prong fasteners can
be placed in any position, on any product.
Metal tabbing: Straight or
angled tabs can be placed in serial positions or in any specified position.
Self tabbing: Your choice
of sizes and positions.
Scoring: To aid in precise
folding.
Round cornering: To
prevent catching and improve appearance.
Drilling: Any size holes
in any position. For fasteners or contents checking.
Die cutting: Windows, tabs
and thumb cuts can be made in any position.
Printing : Anything from a
simple return address to Four Color Process Litho.
